Will it end before or after the American Idol results show? This is very important. :-)
Seriously, though, I guess I'd take off work, enjoy this beautiful day in my garden, sit in the swing with my wife, leafing through pages of our photo albums, reliving the past, and watching our grandchildren play in the yard. I'd read some of my favorite poetry aloud and tell everyone that I love them. Then I'd set the dining room table with all our best china and crystal, cook everybody's favorite meals, and we'd dine together, tell stories of our lives, and laugh a lot. Or maybe I'd build a huge bonfire and we'd have simpler fare, hotdogs and roasted marshmallows. We'd take a vote. We could always dress up the table for breakfast. In any case, we wouldn't go weeping and wailing. We'd make our last day a celebration of life.

I would:
Apologize to those whom I have wronged
Hold my kids close and show them how much I love them
Savor my last sunset
Stay awake all night to view the sunrise
Gaze at the stars and hope for just a little more time
Call all my family members, to let them know I care
Make peace with my father, whom I have not seen in years.

Have my life in order and be ready to meet God and my family. Make sure I'm happy and do as much as I can that day before with no regrets.

Get on my knees and thank God that he has provided a way, that I have accepted, to spend eternity with him. Hug my wife, tell her I love her and take her with me into the streets of my town and evangelize to those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior that at least some of them would enjoy eternity in Heaven as opposed to eternity in Hell.

Nothing I do will change the outcome, so, I probably stay with my wife and daughter as I always do.
