What is the law with regards to a modarator in the uk

A modarator or silencer is classed as a firearm and moust be endorsed on your FAC (firearms certificate).
For every firearm that you wish to use a silencer with you moust have it endorsed on your FAC. So basicaly to use a rifle with a silencer it moust be stated on your FAC.

With regards to air rifles they are ligal as long as the rifle is under 12ft lbs
