She was a real person. Her story is told in the Bible. She was not, according to all the historical documents, what people are trying to make of her today. She was not the lover of Jesus, nor His wife.

Mary Magdalene was a very special lady. She even wrote her own Gospel, which is available on the internet and in books. Sadly, some of the pages are missing.
She is a controversial person today, because some speculate that she was the wife of Jesus and bore his children. While this can't be proved, many scholars believe that were a possibility.
Here is a website that will provide you more information.

All Bible believing Christians believe in Mary Magdalene.
Saint Mary Magdalene was the first witness to the resurrection of Jesus. (See the 20th Chapter of the Gospel of John).
She was one of Jesus' followers during his ministry, and was present at the cross when he died.
There is some debate on whether she is the woman in Luke 7 who was a notorious sinner. Most biblical scholars believe that Mary Magdalene was not the notorious sinner.
The 8th chapter of the Gospel of Luke describes Mary Magdalene as being healed and supporting Jesus' ministry out of her means.
With love in Christ.

Mary Magdalen had 7 demons and Jesus healed her. She was NOT a prostitute. She followed Jesus. She was one of the first people who saw the the tomb was empty and even saw him after he rose from the dead. She was not married to Jesus for he came for one reason alone. To die for our sins. Not to be a good teacher. Not to have a family.
There are over 300 prophesies of Jesus in the old test that came to pass.

Believe in her? Believe what? That she existed? Yes, she is a historical figure. The only things we know about her are the few statements about her in the Bible. There is nothing more we can know.

She was a harlot in the bible who accepted Jesus and was saved. She did not marry Jesus as some recent accounts try to imply.
