Yes, I've done it before... I'm 29 now and it doesn't happen as much anymore, but when I was 21-22 and going to college it happened quite a lot. It happens to a lot more young adults than you might think, actually, most of us are just too embarrassed to talk about it!
From what I understand the problem is basically that the bladder gets too full during the night, and instead of waking up and going to the toilet like most people do in that situation, your body doesn't wake up quickly enough and your bladder ends up overflowing and wetting the bed. Stress and anxiety can make this worse because they keep your mind more preoccupied and more sound asleep, so you don't notice your bladder overfilling until it's too late. Obviously if you have a small bladder, or drink a lot of fluids, that will also make the problem worse because your bladder will fill up more quickly than normal, giving your body less time to react to it by waking up. It's more common if you had a bedwetting problem as a child (older than the age of 5 or 6) for it to resurface in response to stress or anxiety at this age, but it can still happen even if that wasn't the case.
That you feel like you're half asleep or half awake when it happens is actually common -- it means your body is trying to wake up in response to the full bladder, and ALMOST making it, just not quite getting there in time. That you wet the bed is NOT your fault... it's caused by your bladder filling up past the limit of what it can hold while you're still asleep, and you have no control over that, so try not to beat yourself up about it (I know that's easier said than done though!). Try to watch what you have to drink late at night (caffeine and alcohol especially), because a lot of liquids can make your bladder fill up more quickly so it's harder to wake up in time. Reducing the sources of stress and anxiety in your life can also help, though again that's obviously easier said than done.
Try not to stress about this too much... this is not fun for sure, but it's not your fault, and you're not alone with it by any means. If it keeps getting worse or doesn't subside after a few weeks, maybe get checked out by a doctor to make sure there's nothing seriously wrong with your kidneys or bladder, but in most cases there's no health threat from this other than the annoyance and embarrassment. Hang in there and hopefully it will get better soon.

Well, I hate to admit it in such a public place but yeah I have.
I used to doit as a kid but stopped as I went through puberty :s
However, all of a sudden I did it again a few times when I was going through a severely anxious period. I think it was because I couldn't sleep properly but when I did actually fall asleep, I'd be so comatose I'd just dream I was going to the loo (on the lav) or just be too deep under to wake up. And yes, I could have died of embarrassment.
As the anxiety passed it stopped THANK GOD!
There could be a physical reason why you do it.... get checked over by a doc to make sure all your water works are ok
Chammomile tea can help calm anxiety. Well.... it does for me.

My daughter had to get help with that at age 13. She grew to become into an somewhat sound sleeper and in basic terms did no longer awaken adequate to get to the bathing room at evening. We had a software the place a buzzer might burst off if a pad below her sheet have been given the slightest bit moist. I made specific she have been given up and rushed to the bathing room. As area of this technique I had a catalogue of math questions she had to verify and write out the solutions. This stored her unsleeping long adequate to realize that she had genuinely gotten as much as circulate to the bathing room in time. this technique worked and took a pair of month formerly she had no injuries. regrettably, this grew to become into approximately two decades in the past and that i do no longer bear in concepts the call of the mattress wetting software. it variety of feels to me that we've been given the advice for it from her kin wellbeing care provider. you may examine inclusive of your wellbeing care provider first and ask for some concepts.

I got loaded one night after having way too many tequila shots... I remember fragments of throwing up at the bar, in the parking lot, horrified faces from strangers, puking outside in middle of the street, on my carpet, and a little on my bed.
Eventually I woke up in a puddle of my own urine. Not one of my finest moments.
Same thing happened in Vegas.
These are moments I rarely share with anyone. I'm sure you all understand why...
It happens to plenty. Take it as a wake up call. If it continues, contact your doctor to make sure you're not suffering from any serious complications.

You could wet the bed when drunk
You could wet the bed thinking you are awake and in the bathroom.
You could wet the bed when sick.
YOu could wet the bed if old and incontinent. But would also wet your pants when awake.
If you are frequently wetting the bed...go to the doctor.
