Wengo is an Internet Phone Systems that lets you make calls from your computer to any landline or cell phone in the world, in addition you can talk to Wengo users free of charge.

It uses VoIP (Voice over the Internet Protocol) for connecting the calls. Yahoo Voice is also a VoIP service, and other examples are Skype, Call Centric, Vonage, Chocophone (Italy), etc.

Wengo is established in France, their service is quite reliable. You have to remember that VoIP is still a new technology and it is still in diapers, yet it allows you to save a lot of money in local and long distance calls.
