My mom likes to make deals with me, so she said if i shampooed the carepet then i could go to the underoath concert. But now theres the movies my friends invited me to , at Imax theaters, and i really wanna go, but im not sure how i can do it.

Think of another chore you can do that you know your mom would really like. Tell her about the movies and ask her if she will make a deal for you to do that chore and in return, you get to go to the movies.
EARN YOUR WAY OUT OF TROUBLE.

offer to do the laundry, or clean the house for her. Anything that will help her is your best bet.
My parents used to do that to me also, but instead of shampooing the carpet, i had to change the oil in their cars, or change the spark plugs, top off fluids, etc.....OHHHHH. thats how i know so much about cars.

Chores around the house are always good...but why not offer to do something special WITH your mom...go to the ballet with her, go to church with her, offer to go for a long walk, whatever...you know...good ol' quality time!

I would want my kids to clean the house, preferably the bathrooms. All mothers hate to do it, and it would be the best gift!

Well why dont you try doing some extra chores..laundry, clean bathroom..but what's best is if you just do it.. don't ask if "I do this, can i go?" maybe if she sees you trying she'll give in..Hope you get to go!
