i speak Arabic & English I read Quran in English but believe me it is different in Arabic I thank every one must learn Arabic to know the beautiy in this book

It think some things in it are very mistranslated. If you have learned how to read the arabic version, then read the english one, you see many discrepancies. For example, in Surah An Nisa. the verse says to beat your wife. In arabic, that word means to literally beat it as in to leave the area or house. Same with the other 5 places it's used in the Quran. Never to strike or harm somebody. I think with the original arabic language, it's very hard to put the words into the english concept.

According to the Muslims on here, there is no such thing as an English translation of the Qur'an, you can only read it in the original language.

It goes okay for now, considering I cannot read Arabic yet, but I hope soon to learn how to read Arabic so I may read the Qur'an in its original writing.

Well it really depends on who translated it. If you want to know which one is good, the dominant view is that Abdullah Yousuf Ali did an excellent job followed by Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall.
