Actually, I think this wine is from Lussac-St. Emilion which is just another "satellite" commune near St. Emilion, similar to Montagne St. Emilion.

James Suckling of Wine Spectator gave a barrel tasting score of 85-88 points for the 2003, which is fairly good, but it's not anything spectacular. Probably a really good wine to have with a simple lamb roast.

I have had a number of wines from the St. Emilion satellites (I'm too cheap to pay for a true St. Emilion) including Chateau Maison Blanche from Montagne St. Emilion, and they make really decent table wines with a good meal, but won't blow your socks off.
