Does anyone know how long it takes for goods to clear through UK customs. I've got 2 bridesmaids dresses ordered from America and the've been in UK customs now for 4 days ( I've been using my tracking number). Has anyone had experience of this and if so, how long did you wait? They've been in customs now longer than it took them to travel from the US - the waiting's killing me!!! lol

Sometimes the carrier service doesn't update their websites as often as they should...it is possible that the dresses have left customs but the carrier service just hasn't put the updated information there.....
I am waiting for a package that I know was sent 2 days ago and the carrier service website says they still have no record of the package...

They may be holding them for taxes - call customs or the delivery agent and see what the hold up is sometimes the shipper puts - taxes are payable by receiver and if they didn't have a good phone number the item can be held or returned. Good Luck!
