Hey everybody, I'm a 18-year-old Italian girl, and in exactly two days I'm going to take the FCE, First Certificate of English exam.
I'm not really worried for the exam itsself, I'm usually rather good at English so that's not what I'm mainly preoccupied for BUT it's my first real exam in front of total strangers (the examiners).
I wasn't scared until today but now I have this sense of anxiety and panic, basically for the spoken part of the exam, and it just won't go away... I know it's normal to get frightened like this, but it's really annoying since basically I have nothing to fear, and I don't want to screw up my exam just because I'll be in blind panic. Do you have any suggestions? any tricks to feel more relaxed or self confident? I thought about drinking a beer before the exam but I might be a little too laid back if I do that...whatever...
Thanks so much in advance, Sylvia

Try to put yourself in their shoes. They have a boring job. Try to make it a little more interesting! Make up your mind that you will do your best to be entertaining in what you say. If you can make them laugh, you are winning!

If you can't manage that, try a little fantasy. These people are all nervous of you and it is your task to smile and put them at their ease.

Good luck, and remember that deep down these people want you to succeed. They are friends, not enemies!

Good Luck in your test !!!!! And forget the beer...you don't need it, I'm sure... Try listen to some music or do whatever you know that makes you feel relaxed. Kiss a boyfriend, talk with friends, eat a piece of cake...(or pizza? ) ...

Have a good night's sleep before your exam day, do some deep breathing exercises and drink a cup of melissa herb tea. Whatever you do, don't drink alcohol in any form!

Good luck

i think of it is often extra perfect to get a small motor vehicle for ur try. ordinary to attend to and park. in my way, get the motor vehicle in ur hand on the day of ur try.. force it an hour, thn take a injury n then head for ur try. do no longer force AN HOUR N THEN DIRECLY seem FOR UR try. U could recover from helpful N GET issues incorrect.
