Yup, I think a lot of us have felt that way at one time or another. I know I have. I hope that there is a grand design to life and that somehow and in someway I'll be an important part of that. It scares me though when I think about it cause it causes a lot of doubt in my mind. What can I do that's going to be so important? What if I miss my big opportunity.? What if I'm nothing but a loser.?

Those are times when I sit down and think about how I'm effecting other people. Am I being as nice as I could be? Am I helpful when others ask for help? Do I try not to judge people?
You know stuff like that. That's all I can really do is try to be the best person that I can be. I have to believe that it all adds up and its a way to judge your worth.

This isn't a big revelation or anything but the world would be a nicer place if people thought about stuff like that. There wouldn't be prejudice and hatred or even war.

Then, I ask myself what do I want to add to life. Something that I could actually do that completes me and enhances my life and others too. I decided it can be anything really as long as I take my attitude with me. Good luck to you on your journey in life

Absolutely I have felt this way, and had these thoughts. Then I tell myself, it's all a test of sorts. I'm in the race to be the best wife and mother I can be, I want to be a good daughter, and a great friend. I want to think of others needs, and put those thoughts aside, cause I've got divine purpose in my life. I'm here because I was lucky enough to be put on this earth and I'm gonna do my best to live life. Mission in life? It is what you make of it. Set goals, small at first and each time you succeed, set another a bit higher. Not only will it take your mind off stuff, but your self esteem will sky rocket! You are a person worth your weight in gold, and don't think any different. My best advice is to not always over think everything, and to get out there and live girl!

What is Your Purpose in Life

Many people mistakenly believe that a life reading details everything significant there is to know about a person. While your life reading will address larger more important issues, they may not offer the specifics that a relationship or career reading would.

When we set an appointment for a life reading we are looking for a canvas; a place to start or summarization as to why a situation(s) repeats themselves again and again. Your life reading can offer direction not only where focuss of attention is needed, but what can be done next to open other avenues or break a cycle of redundancy leading to newer relationships or career.

Our life path is comprised of many things. The interaction between people around us currently, people entering our paths, decisions, beginnings and closures as well as personal/spiritual reflection and drive. In unison all of these things work in revealing our inner spirit. They help us develop deeper meaning, peace and wisdom in our lives through these experiences and lessons we have to learn.

No, I don't think anyone ever thought of that before. Seriously, I think everyone with an IQ higher that a parsnip has pondered the meaning of life at least once and a while. The answers vary widely from person to person. Personally, I think there isn't necessarily a "mission" to life, but there are better ways to live one's life than others. Good luck finding your mission.

As you have said, you are a "young lady". Life unfolds at the speed it is. We are destined for many things over our lives and how it will unfold is only known by God. If you are asking this question then you are feeling the urges He places on you in His efforts to point you along the right path in life. The best thing to do is to stop and listen to what people call your inner voice. If you sit quietly and just listen, you will be amazed how loudly you can her it. You "heart" will tell you "what your mission in life is" and that will lead your path to what you need to do to obtain it. Remember, we all have a destiny and only you and God can find it together, just let Him guide you and all will be well.

im the very same. i quit school when i was very young but then i found out what a fool i was i went back 4 years later. then i found my mission in life. to help other people i travel the world doing vollenteer work bringing hope to the hopeless. now i know why i am here, to help these people , what would they do if there was noone to listen to them or noone to help when they realy need it.

remember this, you are here for a reason. there might be someone out there who needs you more than anything else. find that and you will be happy

I'm 44 now but I used to think that all the time around age 25 day in and day out . Most of the time I would think of that just before a "depression" episode making me feel all down and depressed.

So seriously one day i simply got pissed off at myself and said "*** it!!!! Theres more to life than this!"

So now a days im just working, doing what i do best, try to make some people happy and enjoy life.

Whats the point worrying about it anymore right?

So with this..i dont feel so depressed anymore. If the answers to "life" were to plop in my lap I'll know it then..if not..then no need to stress it.

That comes under philosophy, religion, and psychology. Therefore, the answer will vary, from person to person. It is also very likely that an individuals answer will also change, at different stages of his/her life.

As for myself . . . it took a long time to refrain from dwelling in the past, living in the future, and to begin enjoying the present. This, because too many Todays were slipping by unappreciated. Perhaps a major part of life's challenges is a balance of responsibility and planning with a sense of contemporary spontaneity.

I believe that people that are wondering about their purpose in life really need to honestly seek God. Its is hard when it is not very popular. It is also hard with the way our society is set up, we almost don't have time in our lives to search for our true purpose. We really need to think about what is most important and what will really make us truly happy and also leave us feeling like we are fulfilling a real plan.If we dont we will never be TRULY happy and that is why our world as a whole is not content with their lives, and these people will be seaching until they die or find the real truth (God). I no longer have a feeling like im lost! Its Great. SEEK
