Do you think its safe to assume she's my girlfriend? We're in our 30s and I don't really want bring it up like we're in 7th grade again.

This is a perfect time to be very nurturing with her. Go to the mall and find a cute bracelet or ring, make her a nice dinner with flowers and candles. While your sipping your wine give her the braclet and tell her she means a lot to you and you would loke to be exclusive ... ask her what she thinks. If she does not want to take it to the next level ... well you tried. Keep seeing her or find another lovely lady. Best of Luck!

Women love it when men are so into them that they revert to somewhat childish behavior, on occasion that is, it shows her that you like her so much you are unable to be the macho adult, but instead you become the love struck teenager. You should tell her how you feel about her and then explain to her that you don't want to sound childish but you want her to be your girlfriend and then joke and say something like wow I feel like I am in high school again...will you wear my varsity ring? lol something light and funny that she can laugh at but take seriously as well. She will appreciate the fact that even though it might make you look stupid you want her to know how you feel so badly that you don't care, and that will speak volumes to her about your sincerity of your feelings for her.

Well, she just may be using you for a free meal those nights.
To really see where you are, tell her you'd like to take her out of town for the weekend and see what she says.

You might ask he if she is wanting a committed relationship, if so, ask her if she thinks that means monogamous. if so you are dating, if not, well ask her where she sees the two of you in the near future.
