I have a coffee maker at my hotel but I do not have a microwave. I sometimes drink boiled water in the morning. Can I use my cofee maker safely for this purpose and how? Any help will be appreaciated.

It won't come to boiling temperature, but all you have to do is pour your water thru and it and you have very hot water. Make sure your coffee maker is cleaned ( the caraff and the basket) so you won't have a funny taste. Works great for tea and hot coco. Good luck.

Yes. If you go ahead and run a couple of pots of water through the maker. Then, just use it as you would with coffee, but no. Also, if you want tea. you can place a tea ball or bag in the well where coffee would normally go.
It will not quite boil, but it will be as hot as the coffe would be.

good luck & bless

ps. there was a time when we had no hot water heater and used two large coffee makers to heat water for dishes as well as cooking.

Use the coffee maker, just don't put any coffee in the filter.

But it won't be fully boiled as coffee is made with water just off the boil.

coffee tastes better when made with boiled water instead of in a coffee maker, in my opinion

I don't think you can boil water in a coffee maker.

Just run the water through without any coffee. It will probably have a faint coffee taste.
