There are lots of reasons as to why a younger sibling acts this way.It could be that she is jealous of you being the oldest or she is seeking attention or maybe it`s just because she is your moody younger sister,i don`t think she hates you ,that is a Strong word hate.Try talking to her alone and ask her if you have done something to warrant this kind of behaviour.Reassure her that you love her very much and that you are there for her if ever she wants to talk about anything but also tell her that her behaviour needs to stop..............good luck.

If you are you, in your teens etc this can be quite normal and with the hormones all mixed up there are times she feels real hatred and other times real love. This often changes for example when one sister leaves home and gets a place of her own, then they seem to get close and never away from each other. However, if you are older and already have lives of your own she still could change for the better but you possibly have to accept that sometimes in families there is one member who just causes trouble continually. In these case it would be difficult to get to the bottom of. Could be jealousy as in she is the least prettiest of the family, not as clever, not as outgoing etc etc etc. Also could just simply be because she just doesn't have a nice nature. Sorry to say there are lots of families with one just like your sister.

she's being a typical sister! Family relationships are very close and very intense, and jealousy and rivalries abound! Sorry, but your sister is probably jealous of you - you're two years older so you have probably got more liberty to go out than she, probably more money, probably more friends, etc. She wants what you've got and is jealous. She'll grow out of it and, in time, you two will be good friends but at the moment I'm afraid that this is a typical sister scenario.
Ignore her, get on with your life - you two will become close in a little time.

She treats you like this now, but when you two are older, and out of the house, she'll treat you better. When you're in your 50's or so, and your parents are getting sick and passing away, you two will come together. She loves you deep down inside, but she's too immature at this point to recognize it, and she is probably insecure, and has to make herself feel better by putting you down. When crisis comes around, families come together.

I think she`s a little bit jealous of you I'm assuming she is a teenager if she is her hormones are all over the place
Just don't let her see it gets to you
When she gets a bit older you will more than likely be the best of friends

How old is she? If less than 21 it's normal, all sisters can say that, if she is older than that, sorry pal but she have some kind of mental disorder.

i have been in this situation before and it stills hurts me. try to spend time with your sister make luch plans and invite her out or something. i don't think she hates you maybe she just picks on you because it's fun or she knows you won't do anyhting to her.
