I have no idea.
I saw one a few weeks ago where some hapless girl asked the question because she'd just found the answer on YouTube!

Could be a social experiment to see how many people would actually know, have some idea, or have no clue of what the answer to a specific question based on the number of participants.

They just want to get other people's point of view. They may get a different perspective they didn't think about themselves.
