You will have to trim off the chemically relaxed hair. You can trim it off little by little if you don't want to do a major cut.

Check out these sites for more info on working with your curls:

Keep your hair super moist and style it minimally (wear a bun, braid, etc) while you're transitioning out of the relaxer to minimize further damage and help your hair grow out healthy.

Hope this helps, Kaya

I did the exact same thing. Your hair will never be totally curley again even if you do cut it all of. My hair is a poofy mess so I straighten it. I also have a perm so when I don't straighten it its curley. If you do decide to straighten it get an expensive hairstraighner or else it won't work.

Sorry your straightening experience was a disaster but anyone else reading this should take note...STRAIGHTENING/RELAXING is the worst thing you can do to your hair!
I'm afraid all you can do is use treatments to regain the strength of your hair and as much as you don't want to hear this....waiting is the only way. Think yourself lucky it wasn't burnt off completely.

You will have to let the relaxer grow out. This is the only way besides cutting your hair. don't blow dry your hair. You should of let it dry naturally.

Cutting it off would be the best thing for you. Plus it's convenient. Plus it's a great look.
