Your'e a Christian right? I am a Christian who believes in the Bible. It would be cool if there were still one or two dragons alive today. I agree with Hawk completely.

34:13 talks about satyrs.

Isaiah 34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.

You can also find dragon references in these passages as well.

According to biblical scientist there was a canopy above the earth before the flood that held water. It mad everything live longer and grow better. Have you ever heard of a hyperbolic chamber (i think that's how you spell it) In this environment arms legs and other things might have been able to grow back to. When the flood happened all this water came down out of the canopy and flooded the earth.
Theory only, but has some good evidence

Isaiah 40 i believe is what you mean.

The King James version refers to dragons and owls, however, the Modern Language, Revised Standard and Living Bible refers to jackels and ostriches.

There are real dragons referred to in the Bible in the Book of Job as decribed in chapters 40:15-41:34 in the King James Version.

Larger dragons drowned in The Flood, however, two of each kind were safe on the Ark, albeit most likely in their small immature state. Their larger descendents have been noted to have been killed down through history (stories which some find so fantastic as to label them as fantasy) or are smaller versions that we have not yet exterminated such as Komodo Dragons, crocodiles, alligators, geckos, lizards and chameleons etc.

This is a good question to ask at Answers in Genesis or Creation Research.
