I have this program and I have more than a couple of computers I own that i want it on. I had to register it to be able to use it. I have it on 2 pc already but the second one I put it on already had an earlier version installed on it so Maybe it was really just an update on that one. It didn't give me a problem at all but the 3rd computer and the 4th are not letting me register even though I am entering my info the exact same way.

Technically you need to buy a new license key for each computer you install it on.

Realistically, just install it and don't register. There is no reason to register office software.

You shouldn't be using the same Windows XP disk on multiple computers. Even though you were able to install Windows XP with the same installation disks on two different computers, you may run into problems down the road with the second computer such as not being able to receive Windows updates. And, if I remember correctly (I haven't installed Windows XP on a computer since 2002), I believe you have to verify that you have a geniune copy of Windows XP within 30 days which might an issue for you on the second computer.

You can install it more than a few time, but you will have to reinstall each one and it tends to be annoying because you can't access your old data unless you have backed it up. If you should try to make the license permanent, it won't register and you will have to call up Microsoft. To tell you the truth you can use a technique called mirroring to install the same programs. I strongly suggest that you try out the Ultimate Boot CD. Just type it the name of this cd in a search, download it, and burn the ISO.

Office is licensed to install on 3 computers. Unless you have used the software license before on another computer, the third computer should work. The fourth, however, will not. If you buy another copy of office, you can use it again on three computers.

I thought you must register any new copy. Or buy several at once and get a discount.
