When I asked my brother for getting a girlfriend (he has a girlfriend), and here's is what I wrote in the email, I paraphrased it to condense it.
"Are there any pointers on to getting a girlfriend? I never had an intimate relationship nor have a big amount of female friends. Just because a female is your friend, that doesn't mean that she will become your girlfriend. I know that 1st appearance matter so I will stop biting my nails permanently."
He is in college while I am at home. I emailed that email since Feb 10, 2007 and he didn't reply. When he got home, I asked about him about it and he said he didn't replied to it since he didn't know what to say. The relationship between my brother and I is that I never talk to him (online or phone). Our communication is dead. and also, when I email about the vacation that my cousins and I went. my email was only to bring how much money we should bring and what should we do. They all thought my emails were wierd. How is my email wierd?

the relationship with my cousin is basically the same as my sibblings. I never even talk to them at all nor online or phone.

Tell them you would like to talk to them.
And when you get a chance, let them know you want to be able to come to them and talk to them about things. Tell them how important they are to your life and that you would really like to be able to communicate with them.
Hopefully they will see that you are serious, and you like having them to talk to, and they'll be more apt to respond to your emails and just converse with you when you need it.
