I bought a freeview box for my bedroom and it worked using the small metal aerial i got with the TV. Only problem was that on some channels the signal strength was not that great and the picture would freeze a lot. So i bought a signal booster and it works a treat on all the channels now.

Depends on how close you are to your local transmitter. Any more than 10-15miles then forget it. Less than that and even with a full sized aerial indoors you may only get some channels.

those are 2 diverse, incompatible structures. For Sky you prefer a satellite tv for pc dish and receiver. Freeview is gained interior the common way with the aid of an straightforward roof-fastened UHF aerial and a Freeview receiver field or digital television. Aerials are by no potential complete. take a glance around your neighbourhood and you will see hundreds of them nevertheless in each and every day use.
