My Sister in law is turning 25 on Sat and she met this doctor guy who lives in a mansion, to make this story short. She is throwing this huge combined b-day bash with her best friend, and it will be a lingerie party.
My husband and I along with friends of ours will be going, the thing is that i'm jealous and it bothers me to go to a paty where all the girls will be half naked in lingerie drinking all night, I can easily ignor the situation by dressing the same and looking hott (besides we ARE married and he will be going home with me) but now we might just go with all of our guy friends (which are like brothers to me) but this is because my girl friends are more jealous and a bit more insecure than I (they dont think they would look good in lingerie) what should I do? should I just put my jealous thoughts behind and show him that i am confident in our relationship and in my skin? Or should I band him from attending his sisters bash?

I spoke with my husband and he understands how I feel. so it will be up to me to decide if who will go or not.

If you have had problems in the past, and end up getting in fights over issues of this nature than I would say avoid the fight and don't go!
However, if you have always had a stable relationship, and haven't had to many jealousy issues in the past, then dress up...look hot so that ALL the guys want you, and your husband will be proud that he is taking you home :)
Be prepared though...a guy at a lingerie party is going to look, and he is going to see a lot of girls in barely anything! He may even stare... you could set boundries for him... but again, if you are going to stressed out, watching him the whole time, then it may not be worth it on your relationship.
Test it out, got to a strip club with him and see how you feel.

I sure as heck wouldn't go. I get pretty jealous, too, but it's not like you're being jealous of some random girl in jeans and a sweater walking down the street or your waitress at Applebee's. It's a party for people to walk around pretty much naked. If your husband understands, don't go and don't feel guilty about it. This party is definitely for the singles and swingers.

Sounds like alot of fun! You wouldn't seriously miss this party, would you? (I wish I were invited) I think that the lingerie part will be less intimidating than you think. Hopefully, you trust your husband enough to be able to feel comfortable with all these scantily clad women around. And vice-versa- what are the men going to be wearing? Sounds like alot of fun. Go, have a good time, and prepare to be attacked when you get home!

I think if he is leaving the decision to you then that is more than enough reason to go ahead and go..If you feel secure and like you said he is coming home to you, then go and have a great time together! After all he will appreciate your attitude toward that.. Most of the times guys hate it when a women acts jealous. It is better to trust him, after all he chose you!

I wouldn't go at all. I think the whole idea is tasteless and inappropriate. Why doesn't she just have a regular ol' birthday party? Go out to dinner, have a get together.....why does it have to be a lingerie party??????
