According to the Coca-Cola Company Annual Report, in 2005, per capita consumption of all Coca-Cola Company beverages including Coca-Cola in Great Britain was 199. The population according to the CIA World Fact Book for 2006 was about 60 million. So doing some quick math here: 60 million x 199 servings per person / 365 days is about 32 million servings per day - but that number is for all the Coca-Cola products consumed per day.

According to the Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) UK site:

"Consumers range of consumption has broadened considerably, with the average consumer now buying from 6 of the 12 categories available. Carbonated (fizzy) soft drinks now represent about 8% of total drinks consumption, and non carbonated around 27%. Diet and low calories drinks now make up around 28% of carbonated soft drinks consumption in the UK, with many consumers actively switching to diet carbonated soft drinks as part of weight control. Coca‑Cola Great Britain already offers a considerable range of choice to consumers with a portfolio of 20 brands and nearly 80 products"

Unfortunately there are no details on the Coke sold or consumed in the UK, but it did mention a total of 240 million cases annually. One case is 24 x 8 ounce servings. Doing some math here, the number of servings per day = 240 million x 24 / 365 = 16 million.

So there are some discrepancies with these 2 estimates. Also this is for all the Coca-Cola products sold in the UK - which would include:
* Juice and juice drinks
* Water
* Sports and energy drinks
* Colas
* Lemonades
* Fruit carbonates

Assuming Coke is 20% of the products CCE sells, then we are looking at somewhere between 3 to 6 million servings of Coke per day and since most Coke are sold in 330ml (or 11.1 oz) cans - let's assume it's 1.5 serving per person, then the number is probably closer to 2-4 million people drinking Coke each day in the UK.
