and even though i had a hard time getting it all the way in, it felt nice. Well, this morning when i woke up, the hole was all red and it throbs!!! Do you think it got infected?
I love wearing earrings, but really, could my earlobe be infected? How do i get this earring out if the hole is almost shut?

If your piercing was within the last 24 hours, redness is normal. If you want to remove the earring it will come out easily. Just keep it clean and put the medecine on it daily. The redness will go away in a day or so. If it doesn't, see the doctor, you may have an infection.

okay you can tell if its infected it there is poss coming out (white substance), my suggestion to you is take it out and clean it, if you don't' see the swelling going back down then take it out completely. I pierced all my piercings by my self so i know what I'm doing. if the earring is fake TAKE IT OUT right away
