Ask your Pharmacist, typically they are much more knowledgable about meds than any Dr or Vet.

Until you can get the correct spelling of the medication then I can't help you. It should be printed on the bottle the vet gave you.
Google it and then see what it is used most commonly for.

J.M.C, If the doctors/vets were not educated on their meds, they would not be authorized to prescribe them to patients. Just to let you know.

Why didn't you ask your vet when he/she gave the meds to you for your dog? You should call your vet and ask. The front office people would be able to tell you without you having to ask for the doctor. They keep that stuff on record. All they would have to do is pull up your dog's record and they would be able to tell you what it was for.

Most dogs heal quick, it is probably an antibiotic.
You could try vitamin C crushed with honey in it and the dog
will get well quick.
