Different people behave differently because they are different.
It is most likely that you find yourself attracted to a type of man who doesn't behave the way you expect and your question is pointing out one of your desires in a partner.
I recommend you make a list of the 10 things you want in a partner.
When you are done, write the date at the bottom.
Then, each day for a month, re-read the list, update it, then add the date at the bottom.
At the end of the month, put the list in a book on a shelf and leave it there. (Then begin another list.)
What this will do is solidify in your mind what you want in a partner and you will find yourself acting, thinking, and attracting the type of person you have defined. It isn't magic - it's training.
