There are crappie and walleye tournaments scheduled for May 5tha nd 19th, respectively, so hopefully both should be biting. For crappie go with an ultralight (2-4#) outfit and small mini-jigs. For walleye, upgrade to 8-12# tackle and try curl tail grubs (white and chartreuse) and smaller Rapalas, especially near river inlets, where the water will be warmer (and the fish more aggressive)

THANK YOU!!! I FINALLY FOUND SOME1 WHO FISHES AT THE SAME LAKE AS ME!!!
(we own a old place there)
this lake is famous BIG MUSKIE AND BIG CRAPPIE(also walleye)
there is a sunken island off behind Harris island where u can fish for Crappies. since there r so weeds, if u have a boat try to fish the weed edges with small tubes, jigs and small shiners
there r also many logs sticking up in the lake too
these usually hold lots of crappies and try vertical jigging with tubes
also try drop-shotting with LIVE shiners around the logs/trees(smaller the better)

i dont fish for muskie here though but try these sites even this lake has produced many of the top muskies in PA

http://www.fish.state.pa.us/pafish/musky/ab_articles/2003may_jun/00seeking.htm

troll for walleyes with hot n' tots along stumps in the back channels of islands
cast rubber curly tail jigs around stumps if u can locate them

the Bass r harde to locate but i would try a rat l trap around stumps and logs too
use topwater baits and texas and carolina rgged rubber worms around the lily pads and weeds.
this lake has been known to produce many big fish within the last 20 yrs. NOT MANY PEOPLE FISH HERE but the ones that do catch many lunkers.
ask around local shops and bait stores for the "honey holes"
