if im really shy but want to meet people how can i just go up and start somthing as in a conversation

Start by saying hello.Then you can ask them what their opinion on a certain subject.Before you know it you are talking.Be yourself and make the first move.It will get easier with time.You are probably lacking a little self confidence.

If you are a working person, you may take up marketing or sales job. First, you have to do telephone calls to make an appointment to meet them. Of course, you will be nervous for the 1st time meeting people. Later on, you will get used to it.
I was shy before just like you but I took my courage to do marketing/sales job, I contacted them and I would start my conversation by friendly greetings. I succeeded in my job both meeting and making lots of people. Try it.

by opening your mouth. sorry. actually to say hi. I'm shy also find some type of common ground. whether it is the news weather(which old people do a lot) kids, school... what ever.

Just be like hey im so and so...and get to know them ask questions as well as letting them find stuff out about you and if you have something in common talk about that!!!!

i have the same problem... but i realized that there's really no reason to be shy... just walk up to the person nd be lyk "hey i'm --------...i've seen you around and i just wanted to say hi! " ...that's all it takes!!!
