They're still around, but in human form. They still act the same though.

It's an early English translation of an animal that is vague in the Hebrew. It's also translated as dragon, horse, and hippopotamus (depending on the version). However, C.S. Lewis talks about Satyrs in his Chronicles of Narnia series. Apparently, they dance around a lot...I don't know.

The word in the original hebrew means a male goat...not the mythological creature you refer to.
