he invented the pencil sharperner i have been looking all over the internet trying to find infromation on him but the places i went only says he invented the pencil sharperner but i need his life story all his backgrond information.

The pencil sharpener inventor was none other than black inventor John Lee Love.
This African American famous inventor designed what was known as the “Love Sharpener”.
John was living in Fall River, Massachusetts when he began work on a small portable pencil sharpener for artists. He ended up with a product that made sharpening your pencil a neat and clean experience. The pencil was placed into the opening of the sharpener and rotated by hand until desired sharpness was reached. Instead of falling on the floor, the shavings remained inside the sharpener to be disposed of at a more convenient time. Over a hundred years later, people around the world continue to use his invention in some form. Black inventor John Lee Love received his patent (#594,114) on November 23, 1897, only four years after his previous invention of the “Plasterer’s Hawk”, which was used to spread plaster or mortar.

You can use this answer to support your lack of bio...I've spent the last 25 minutes doing searches for this and, as you said, turned up no biography for John Lee Love or John Love.
Perhaps you can call your local library and ask for the Research Desk -- they may be able to give more appropriate information. . . or use Wikipedia, if you haven't already.
I did manage to find a couple of black and white patent sketches of both his pencil sharpener and the mason's tool he also invented. Both of his inventions are still in use today.
Sorry I couldn't find anything further. But, had this been my project--I wouldn't take no for an answer until I found what I was looking for.
