Hey Pretty Face,
U just tell him/her ...they will appreciate you telling them open and honestly instead of someone else who may say it real mean and hurt their feelings...U coudl also offer a piece of gum/mint and make a dental appointment. Sometimes gum disease is the cause of bad breath. Good Luck

If you two care about each other you should just be able to tell them that their breath stinks in a caring tactful way in private and they should receive it as you trying to help them not hurt them. Try pulling them to the side in another room or something and saying "Baby you may want to go brush your teeth again you may have eaten something that is still on your breath" If that doesn't work then just come out and tell them in private"Baby your breath is stinking"

When my husband and I hadn't been married very long, he came home and kissed me and I almost died. I said, "Oh, my....what did you have for lunch today?" He said......"Does my breath stink?" I said, "Well....I wouldn't say stink......" (but of course he smelled like yesterday's diapers) He got the hint. He brushes his teeth 3 times a day now. No problems. You could also try this. Say you must've eaten something ripe because someone at work mentioned your breath. Ask him if anyone has even said something to him like that? He should get the hint that way, too.

99% of bad breath is caused by the bacteria in the mouth & tongue. There is a mouth wash called Rectardex which actually elliminates bad breath by killing the bacteria; where as most mouth washes only work to temporarily mask the smell! They have a range of products, toothpaste, mouthwash & mouth spray, so you could try this first!

Keep offering him gum once a day or tic tac's,
hell get the hint it might make him wonder does she think i have bad breath ? I don't think that would hurt his feelings as much as just flat out telling him.

you just tell them. If you love them and they love you it should be fine. Then you could recommend them to a dentist or a doctor. Sometimes bad breath is a sign of an underlying disorder, and not just from improper oral hygeine. Tell them politely that their breath is offensive. Maybe they don't know its bothersome.

when they breathe around you, ask them non-chalantly "whats that smell?" and possibly sniff the bottom of a nearby shoe in wonderment, as if your looking for dog poop.....should get the hint...or always have gum on hand and offer it to them frequently...or buy them an electric toothbrush for a birthday or something, give them a reason to use it....
