I've twice told you it's "into" and I stick by my version.

It is definitely not "in". The other two versions both mean different things, but are both correct. If you say "into", it means the friends catch him, whereas if you say "towards", it doesn't mean they catch him, just that he is moving towards them.

Your last sentence doesn't make sense though. What do you mean "So those it goes artical"?...that makes NO sense at all.

the word is CORRECT, not corect. English is not a difficult language, but the spelling beats many as you can see from the questions asked here.
