I’ve been dating this guy for about 4 months now, and I’m confused because I’m not quite sure if he’s looking for the same thing I’m looking for. He’ll call maybe twice a week, but he tries his best not to call that much he says that he doesn’t want to “sweat” me, which means he doesn’t want to show me that he likes me too much. I understand that because no man wants a woman to think he’s hooked on her so soon. We’ve had sex almost 4 times within the time frame that we have been seeing each other, and he’s came over maybe twice, and we’ve just chilled and watched a movie together. I’ve never dated a guy that didn’t want to be around me all the time, and it’s kind of confusing, not that I like being smothered because I don’t, I just feel like I’m not getting enough attention from him, especially if he’s supposed to be my man. Every time I complain to him about the time we spend together, he says that he’s going to change, but doesn’t, and then when I tell him that I don’t want to waste my time on someone who doesn’t want me he confesses his feelings for me, and keeps me holding on. Something keeps telling me that maybe he is interested in me, but doesn’t want to move to fast, I think he’s trying to feel me out, and see what type of woman I am before he commits to me, and I understand that. But he’s not giving me an opportunity to feel him out, because I might be the type of woman he wants, but he may not be the type of man that I want. Please give me your opinions on this situation, because I’m so confused. Should I stay or should I go?

Sorry it doesnt sound like he cares for you the way you care for him. Typically guys dont need time. Im afraid you have made a mistake sleeping with him so soon. Avoid sex once or twice and see what happens.
If I were you you need to talk about what is expectations for the relationship. Does he plan on seeing others or just you. Good luck.

Its only been 4 months, if you enjoy him and want to be with him wait it out. I am not sure why so many people try to rush relationships. Unless your 60 years old and dying to get married, just let the relationship ride. Find things to occupy yourself when he's not around. If after another month it doesn't pick up. Start seeing other people. Nothing like a good competition to wake a man up. DON'T CHEAT let him know you want to start seeing other people before hand, this will give him an opportunity to make a move or let you go. If he agrees then you know he's not that into you. Either way, you will have an answer.

There are 3 things that could be causing this. First is he LIKED you at first but he doesn't want to hurt your feelings and break things off. Second one is he might just want you as a friends with benefits thing and just wants to hang out when he wants the benefits part. And last, he migh be seeing someone else and not have the time to devote completely to you. Either way, you are probably better off without him!

I'm really sorry, and although I don't know him at all, he sounds like a typical player who doesn't want a true commitment at all. I would say, if you want something different, it's time to find someone who is willing to put as much effort into the relationship as you are.

Well, he is playing the role of the tough guy, who don't care for his girl.
I think he is enjoying the confusion feelings that you have right now.
He made you the one who is trying to be around all the time.
I think 4 months are enough, you'd better go.
