What tax form would a 16-year-old use to file his taxes when he only made about $1600 hundred dollars. His parents also claim on using him a deduction.

He doesn't have to file at all unless over $400 of his income is from self-employment. If anything was withheld for federal income tax though, he should file to get it refunded.

If all the income was from a W-2 and maybe some interest, he should use a 1040EZ, and check the box that says "YOU" on line 5 to show he is a dependent.
