Ok he flirts a lot, (I do too) but when people ask him if he likes me he says he doesn't know or ignores the question. I asked him to prom and he said maybe, we talk a lot at school and over the internet. and he gives me signs he does and sometimes he gives me signs that he doesn't....

Yes he likes you. But the reality is he may like someone else more and is holding out for that person, that's why he's avoiding the question.
If he does ask you to prom, realize that his 1st option turned him down. So if you like being 2nd fiddle, be my guest. Other wise, MOVE ON!

If he is at all like I used to be he's very attracted to girls, he's just terrified of them. If he is showing you mixed signals, that is most likely the case, and he is also scared of being rejected. Try talking to one or two of his friends and get the scoop, but don't be to nosey. If you are seriously attracted to him, and he's being very cautious, maybe you should ask him to hang out one Saturday.

It seems more like he is stringing you along. Or he may very well like you and not what to do about it. Your best bet is to tell him that you need to make plans for prom. Ask him if he is going with you or if you need to find another date.

Sounds like he is leading you on. Try a little experiment. Ignore him, talk to other guys. If he gets jealous he may like you or he maybe messed up in the head. If he doesn't care he doesn't like you.

I was in that situation once and the guy that did that to me was just a friend, and will always be a friend. But not all people are the same. Your's might be different.

Guys are soooo confusing i swear....Really the only way to know for sure is get him alone and just simply ask him...And if he says no be like oh well i heard from a couple people that you did, and i was just wondering......Good Luck!!!

he probably does but he's probably got other options. If you are willing to share then I'd say go for it but don't makeyourself too vulnerable cause if he's mixing signals like a girl then he might be playing games like a girl.

well, it's either he's a flirt or he likes you. If you think he acts the same way with other girls then he's just a flirt. but if you feel he's closing in on you, then i guess he does like you.

He might like you. He doesn't want to get his feelings hurt if you don't like him by telling the other people, and he probably doesn't want the whole world to know if he does like you. Tell him that you like him and see what his response is.

I think he has got relationship with another giirl so he does not want to loes you and even other girl . by the way in future he will choose one of yours.
