We are 2 cpls in their young 20's that will be taking a vacation to Los Angeles next week. I found plenty of sightseeing to do in the daytime but haven't figured out what to do at night. Is the Santa Monica Pier or any other places good to visit at night? Clubs or events?

Try Universal City Walk, Hollywood, Downtown Disney (Has an ESPN Zone) or the Long Beach Pike, where there are plenty of restaurants.

Ooooh, the jet lag for that wanting a visit from L.A. to London might injury! go someplace interior 2 or 3 time zones. There are non-end and one-end flights from LAX to Vancouver and Toronto in case you opt to circulate to yet another English-speaking united states of america.
