When man is going to faint he falls into in OR towards the open arms of his friends.

So... is it goes Into in or nothing

"Into" - Think of it this way. You are falling, and somebody is going to catch you. Your friend catches you IN his arms, in other words, surrounded by them. So you fall INTO his arms.

It would probably be OK to say "falls in his arms" as well. Literally this would mean you are falling inside the arms (not moving from outside them to being surrounded by them), but it does not sound too strange. Falling "towards" their arms sounds like he was falling and the friend walked away, or he was too far away so he ended up on the floor anyway. Falling "on" sounds like the arms were on the floor and you came crashing down on them, so that's probably not the best choice!

Overall, "Into" is the best choice.

Into.

He falls into the outstretched arms of his friends.

In fact, I think that every time you fall in something (e.g. a pond, a lake, a puddle) you are heading downwards. Except when you fall in love!
