Where do you get 1914 ? The Jehovah's Witnesses ?

We have been in The Last Days since Jesus Christ Ascended to The Father. The more accurate question is when did/or dose The End Of The Age come about. That happened when Israel Regained control of Jerusalem, and won't be completed until Messiah comes, and Jerusalem is no longer,"Trodden down by the gentiles....." Luke 24:24 -

In actuality, since the birth of Jesus was the time of the last days.
From His birth on is considered the last days.
Heb 9:26 Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

Notice the word consummation.
The coming together of the end.

You're supposed to wait longer than that before crying "The end is near" a second time. You didn't even wait a full hour.

See, how it works is that you tell everyone that these are the last days, get 'em all riled up, then disappear and go rile 'em up somewhere else. Don't come back to the same spot a second time until they've had a chance to forget that you were already there telling them the world was about to end.

Didn't you read the training manual?

1914 is an arbitrary date. The Bible says that we have been in the "last days" since the 1st century because after Jesus offered a sacrifice once for sins, for all time, it now only remains for the fullness of the gentiles to be brought in and reconciled to God before Christ comes again to gather the faithful to eternal life and the unbelieving to eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire.

1 John 2:18 Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.

Matthew 24:3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?"

4 And Jesus answered them, "See that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.

34 Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'
37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'
40 And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'

41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.'

44 Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?'
45 Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.' 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Jehovahs Witnesses think that because they predicted the world would end that year but then it didn't so then they said that something else significant happened that year instead and that's what they really meant.
