This happened to me with my dog. Take the dog to the vet to get some medicine called endoscorb. Also cheese and applesauce will help to firm up the poop. Chicken and rice is usually suggested but chicken is so quickly metabolized that it moves right through. You can also give the dog one amodium AD tablet. But ultimately, take the dog to the vet.

First you have to find out what is causing the diarrhea! Only your vet can tell you that.
Get him into the vets and they can tell you why and give him the proper medication to help releive it.
I'd stop giving him ice cubes because they are too cold. Just let him drink plain clean water until you get him into your vets.

Diarrhea can be caused by a number of things, like dietary indiscretion or viruses or worms. Offering lots of water is good, you can also try feeding him a bland diet of boiled hamburger or boiled chicken and white rice. If you should see any vomiting, he should stop eating, or you see blood in the stool, see a vet immediately.

If he have been given into the cat food it somewhat is maximum in all probability purely the load loss application differences making him try this. it is going to bypass. and not feeding him replaced into not an excellent concept. you may continuously positioned them back on their properly-known weight loss application. The diarrhea will bypass in an afternoon or 2. between not feeding him and him eating cat food his device is all tousled. supply him an afternoon or 2 and if it does not develop then see a vet.

I agree with you going to the vet...so call as soon as they open. One vet told me one time to feed my pet some hamburger and rice mixed together, this is considered light food for them. He probably has gotten into something the he should not have, and it messed his tummy up. But always play it cautious and head to the vet.

I hope he gets to feeling better

Give him chicken and rice to stop the diarrhea. You could also give him Immodium.
