I was just wondering...I'm not on the big side, but I do have a couple of pounds too many (like 10-15) and it's not that I really need to lose them; I would rather build muscle tissue. I already researched it online but it's a bit confusing...Any ideas on the workout routines for girls (I'm 24). I would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

You need to do Spartan training. If it worked for those dudes in 300 then it can work for you. Analyze the "making of" videos, do endurance strength training (not doing 20-25 reps, but doing 50-100 reps and increasing weight over time), training for a good 2 hours non-stop (you'll need to have a protein drink with you to sip on to keep your body in the anabolic stage), and you'll also have to design your diet to match your caloric output. Of course the most important thing is deep sleep, this is where you will build muscles and you'll need to sleep a solid 9 hours a day to maximize your growth. Keep in mind that you'll see some results in a month, then nothing for another two months. Don't give up, the gyms always get people who quit at around 3 months, but if you wait until 4 months into it then you'll start to see wonders. Obviously before that time you'll feel amazingly strong and energetic, just make sure your diet is good.

It depends on the time you have to spend in the gym. I will show you what my routine consist of and you can maybe do something similar. Just remember muscles need rest in between workouts so try not to work the same muscles everyday.
Here is my routine
Mondays chest and triceps
Tuesday back and biceps
wed legs and shoulders
Thur chest and triceps
Fri back and biceps

I do cardio 3-4 times a week just before I workout just depends what days I have time to do them and on the weekends I take one day to do the toning of certain muscles I feel i missed during the week.
I am also trying to bulk up so I usually do heavy weights on one of the two days I work the arms and chest. And do light weights with lots of reps on the other day.
If you dint have that much time to devote in the gym just work something like that in.
good luck.
