I posted a response to Mahal's "challenge". This morning, I had a email from him telling me my question was considered "at the high school level", and things of that nature. Then, I also was informed by Y!A that my "question" wasn't actually a question. I guess I didn't word it in the form of a question(I didn't know this was Jeopardy). Just wondered if any other responders to his challenge got violated as well?
(Hope this one isn't violated for not being a question?) Maybe if I include enough ????'s, it will be considered one? Who know?

I actually am not sweating the violation. I just thought it was funny that I responded to his "challenge", and was violated for it.
For those out of the loop, last night, Mahal stated he had proof that every scripture in the bible was accurate. He claimed he had "scholarly" sources to prove his claim. I challenged him to prove the story of Jonah as a whole.
Guess he couldn't, so I got violated.
Cool. No sweat here. And, I think I can survive without counseling.

While I have been violated repeatedly, it was never by Mahal.
Wait, was he the guy with the gray Camry and does he wear glasses?
if so, he's due a refund. He paid me $200 for the hour, but only used 30 seconds.

Yahoo Answers Team have a nasty way of deciding what is a question/answer and what isn't.
I gave an answer to a girl who asked a honest question, and her question was removed termed as violation, but my answer - which was not a violation either, was termed as violation, under the grounds of "solicitation". In addition, I was taken off 11 points by Yahoo Answers Team.
In one ocassion, a woman asked where could she get help online to report she was raped and I gave the person the National Rape Victim's Toll free number and webpage, and Yahoo Answers Team considered a violation too.
A young kid wrote a question about his desire to commit suicide, and I gave her the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline which is also a toll free number. That was considered a violation also.
However, I have noticed a pattern and most of the people who get violations are frequent users of the R/S section. And there is a strong patter in the type of questions that receive violations.
Interesting enough, I found an hour or so ago, a person who gave (as an answer to a honest clean religious question) a full advertisement to free sex and drugs website link. Guess what? The Yahoo Answers Team have allowed answer with the link to remain there. It has not been considered a Violation.
Therefore, posting mean hate messages, links to sites that advertise the sale of illegal drugs, and placing links to child pornography is not considered Violation by Yahoo Answers Team.
Perhaps Yahoo Inc should allow us, the users of this forum, to rate their YAT personnel actions.

Mahal is one to talk about high school levels. That's laughable. I get violated a lot of the time. It doesn't matter if it's really a violation or not. It's not like they look. They just take the reporter's word for it. Didn't post to the challenge but wanted to show you some support.

You get a violation notice if someone decides to report it. It's not like Yahoo can be stuffed checking whether it was reported for a legitimate reason. It's not really that you didn't word it correctly it's that someone (probably Mahal) used a technicality to report a question they didn't want to hear.

Their are whiners who aren't ready to face the real world. They want to ask questions, but are looking for an agreeable answer. Closed minded POS's. Don't sweat it, I've been violated several times for answers that were very unharassing.

It happens. Don't sweat it. Accounts are free. I always keep four or five. It is way more trouble to report people than it is to get a new account. Eventually Yahoo will get it so that people that report a lot will be ignored.

My whole account got suspended the very day I reached Level 5. It was over nonsense too. They won't reinstate it. It's unreal.

We had a dialogue going (if you can call it that) based on one of my own questions. He's got nothing but insults. I asked him repeatedly for a source for his claims so I could check it out myself and he refused, just more insults.
