I am raising two grandchildren and the 2 year old little girl was born two months premature, she has always had lung problems and is on the nebulizer all the time. We have had to use the expired stuff on a couple of occasions. It looses some of it's potency but it should be alright. I would just get more as soon as you can and I now keep track of ours and if a box is getting close to expiring, I go ahead and call the doctor to get a refill.

Go ahead and use it. Good Luck.

There is really no reason to insult someone just because they ask a question. What they are seeking is answers to a question. Yes, perhaps common sense might say don't use expired meds but if a person asks the question they should get an answer. They didn't come on here to get insulted in their time of need. They are already concerned about their child. Have some mercy. Lord, help our world!

If it is over 90 days past expiration,do not use.If necessary call paramedics(911),they can give your son an albuterol treatment.
