Let's get the word of Jesus Christ out to these poor people today. There are souls on the line! Since we are smarter and better people, we are left in charge of saving. Let's be the Lee Smith of this message board!

Let's continue to show muslyms the proper way!

Amen!

How about we just set good examples as Christians are supposed to? And how about we simply love the people we pass by everyday? Those are a few of the ways we should live, and that is what Jesus taught us. I'll let others decide who they want to follow. There's a story that a cloud and the sun made a bet to see who can get this bloke walking by to take off his jacket. The cloud blowed and blowed with all his might, but the man held on tightly to his jacket. Then the sun shone down on him with all the warmth he could make. The man sure enough took off his jacket.

Take notes!

First of all, if you were half as intelligent as you claim you would know that the followers of the Islam religion are "muslims".

And humans are and were not put in charge of saving people's souls, nor were Christians given bragging rights over other people.
Rather Christians were given the grace by God to go out into the world and show people the goodness of Him through their faith, hope, and love projected in every aspect of their day to day lives.

Not by being pompous ignorant assholes.

Goodday fellow Christian.

I didn't like your question, and I am a Christian.

We are certainly not "smarter or better" - We are all just sinners saved by grace.

The only distinction which applies to us as opposed to the rest of mankind is that we have in fact allowed God to enlighten us, and have 'chosen to follow' Christ.

"Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?" declares the LORD. "This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word." Isaiah 66:2 (NIV)

What you're saying makes us sound as if we're superior to others. We are not.

(there is no humility in your statement.)

and yes, I am ready for another day. Not because I'm smarter, or better in ANY way... but because I've prayed "Thy (God's) will be done" (His way is best, so whatever He has planned for this day is good enough for me)

I really feel that the only "poor people" out there are people who share your mentality.
By claiming you are "smarter and better people" - you only prove the lack of wisdom you have...and the tons of pride you have. Pride as you know is one of the biggest weapons in satan's armour.

Christ did not need you then to save him....nor does he need you or me to save him or the people he created now.

I too am a christian and a strong one at that...
but fanaticism of any kind goes against our very religion and becomes merely a blind following of information and rules !!.

Let's just try to save our selves..by being available to anyone who needs our help..and let GOD do the rest....
That's why HE is GOD !

Absolutely.

Please focus on 1 Timothy 2:11

A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. 13For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15But women[a] will be saved[b] through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.

So that Muslims and Atheists understand that Christians believe that Women should be seen and not heard. These are the words of Jesus Christ. Make sure you reprimand every woman who posts answers on the board today as they are breaking Jesus' word and over stepping their boundary.

You want to be Lee Smith, but most Christians come off as much, MUCH closer to John Rocker.

Christians are not left in charge of saving people. That the Holy Spirit's job and I must say you appear to me to be getting in His way with your "holier than thou" attitude.

Whoa whoa, smarter...better? You won't find that in the Bible... I feel through God's grace we're "better off", but we're certainly just as bad as the next guy in God's eyes!

"Smarter and better?"

If you are a leader, which I am not saying that you are, perhaps you need to do a little communing with God before you say what you did!

Maaaaaaaaannnnn!
