YOur body requires you to be in "Homeostatic Balance"- that is your body requires time to filter and deal with the abuses you throw at it in daily life. Many functions occur while you are asleep and not sleeping causes stress on the body. It is like being drunk- you tend to loose concentration, youre edgy, and your reaction times slow. You are putting your body at great risk by not sleeping it is reported that people who work night shift generally have more heart attacks than those who work day shift and also are more prone to certain types of cancer.

2.09am still going strong, last week drove for 14 hours didnt sleep for 29hrs not drunk, euphoric yes, need very little sleep.

Ja, I agree, it gives a nice buzz, and I don't give a damn about things that bugged me earlier. But I also get really grouchy too at times.
