As explained to me by a friend, from Revelations, in the end, before Jesus comes back, the 2 large armies controlling the world is almost certainly figured to be China and Russia. Where is the USA? We all know that if the US was still around, we would be a world player. I no that the book of revelation tells us things that will happen before Jesus comes back, not when he comes back. How do you feel about Americas future?

the whole world is in trouble but i really think that the lord is trying to get the attention of the usa with all the weather and stuff that has been going on and belive me has gotten my attention like never before but to the world is turning into nothing but another Sodam and Gohrmah ( i know that that is spelled wrong but you got my point) :)

Okies, show me exactly where the word "China" and "Russia" are in the book of Revelations. You say "the world is ALMOST certainly figured", but that's not necessarily true, is it?
A thousand years ago, it would have occurred to no one that America would be a major force in the world. I bet if you went back even 500 years you would find people who knew with certainty which countries were discussed in Revelations.
I think anyone who says they know for sure is wrong. We don't know if Jesus is coming today or 1000 years from now, and in a 1000 years, who knows what the world will be like?

The Bush administration has been doing everything in its power to destroy the future of America by spending all of our resources on gaining wealth and power through wars of choice. By the time they are done the USA will be another 3rd world country leaving the remains to countries like China and Russia.

Certainly I think that America is in trouble, but not becuase of any prediction made in some "holy book".
America is, by virtue of our previously fortunate experiences, increasing arrogance, and NOT learning from history, taking it's turn at trying to be the one world power.
It's not going to work, and countless people will suffer (as many are suffering now) because of it.

It says also that all the nations of the world will be against Israel. So, if we are still around( I think we will be, but perhaps not as we are now) you see that there will be a shift in our country's atitude towards Israel.
America's future? Bleak.

I do not believe America will survive until the time of the anti-christ rule. We have broken the covenant with Father God which was made in 1620 by the pilgrims and Father God has removed the last of our covering of protection. Consider the plight of military conflicts since WWII. All have been either compromise or defeat. Natural disasters have increased. Faith in Father God has faced constant attack and is decreasing. We kill 40,000 unborn babies every year. We legalize abominations to Father God. We remove all traces of Him from our government. Why should He help us remain?

What future? The one blackened by immorality of what seems to be the majority of Americans, and corrupt political systems with their own selfish agendas? Or the one where we're supposed to live happily ever after because nothing can stop this great nation?
Personally - I think we are headed for an implosion. "The terrorists" aren't going to get us from outside. It's our own society that will be our downfall.

It's clear in the Bible, America is not going to be in power when the end comes. Our culture is on a downward spiral, and it's only time before we're occupied or destroyed completely... All you have to do is attack our power plants and we're screwed... You just watch, when we turn our backs on Israel, it'll only be a matter of time!
