I would say most of them that say they are, are being led by blind faith, by that I mean they have been brain washed since childhood and never questioned if what they learned was fact of fiction. The bible says seek and thall shall find, I don't remember anything about a preacher interpreting the bible which is written by man. Or giving ten percent to buy you way to heaven. I interpreted tithing as helping thy neighbor or somebody in need, not a church that cost millions of dollars to build. That money sure would help a lot of poor people. I aways thought being a good Cristian was somebody that helped others in need. That makes more sense than thinking your going to heaven just because you go to church every Sunday, I personally don't believe it is that simple or that easy. You cant buy your way to heaven, you have to earn it by being the best person you can be all the time, not just on Sunday.

I am a Christian, and it is not because I have been brainwashed. I don't attend church on Sunday to go to Heaven, like some people. Matter of fact you don't have to go to church to be a Christian.

Here's a couple of definitions for you, and yes I am.

"One who believes, or professes or is assumed to believe, in Jesus Christ, and the truth as taught by Him; especially, one whose inward and outward life is conformed to the doctrines(teachings) of Christ."

"a religious person who believes 'Jesus is the Christ' and who
is a member of a Christian denomination"

be careful though...there are self-proclaiming Christians who do not actually believe Jesus 'is the Christ' ~ and who twist/manipulate his message to mean/sound like something different.

God Bless.
