It was all part of His redemption plan for us....without the death, burial & resurrection of Christ, we would still be dead in our sins.

It was God's plan all along that His Son be killed, so that He could rise from the dead and show us once and for all that death is not the end, there is more. Once you understand that and believe it is true, then you can begin to understand that God has a place for us on the other side of death, and it is wonderful.

Christ Jesus "Willingly" put to death His physical body for us.
We did not defy Gods will, rather, we were a part of Gods will for humankinds redemption. Just as a Mother or Father would gladly give their life for their son or daughter, God Himself chose to pay the price for our sin, out of His infinite love for us.
This is the message of the entire Old and New Testament.
God Bless You....Peace.

If anything, this should prove you that God is real...

The Old Testament told of that moment, but there wasn't anything Man (nor Satan) could do to stop it.

Now, look at the prophesies in the bible about the end of the world and what's all to come. Neither Man nor Satan can stop it.

God is real, and he can't be stopped.

Weak people didn't kill Jesus...he gave his life.

If he hadn't willingly sacrificed his own life, they would not have been able to take it from him.

Jesus is God and could have killed every one of the Romans and Jews who were torturing him and nailing him to the cross...but his love for them and for all of us, was so great that he allowed himself to be the sacrifice for all. That is why he said "Father, forgive them..."

They didn't ultimately kill him - that's the point. Jesus was sent as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. He died and rose again, just as the old prophecies had predicted. I guess you could say weak humans DID cause Jesus initial death - he did die for us. But he knew he was sent here to die for us.

God works in mysterious ways, but when Jesus died he proved that his ways are what's best for us.
