In my experience it is a diet low in fat. Meals about every 3 hours five times a day. Workouts consisting of weight training followed by at least 30 min. of cardio 3 days a week. 1 hour of cardio 3 more days a week. If you can get it where you live check out a book called "Power Eating" by Susan Kliner. Also, try a fun cardio workout and you will be more motivated. I took up Muay Thai Kickboxing 2 years ago and I am totally hooked. Good luck.

I find lifting weights to be the most effective for me. I throw in a little bit of cardio vascular exercise, plus I lift 5 to 6 days a week, I eat whatever I want and I lose weight, as long as I'm working out and not eating to late. Basically when you lift you are increasing overall body mass, the more muscle you gain, the more food you can consume. Plus you are getting stronger and you will continue to burn calories whillke just sitting there because the muscle s need to eat. If u lift and jog consistently you will be a machine. Swim and sports are good to, but I rarely do that stuff.

Exercise (treadmill, elliptical, and hand weights, leg weights); and switched to lower calorie foods (skim milk, low-fat yogurt, lots of fruits and veggies, fish, chicken...) OH, and keep a food diary. It works!
