What this is - AGREE with EVERYTHING he says, even if you don't believe it.
This way, it disarms the opponent.
Then, ask questions of what should have been done to avoid this from happening.
This is called the negotiation technique.
Once done, you're still calm and in control - even though, you have agreed with him.
He will be persuaded and challenged to think outside of his own perceptions.

Bad move. Competiting in arguements is bad. You make it so much worse.
Right and wrong are just so bad.
Don't argue. Answer curt Agree or Disagree.
