Go for a cream or a digestive biscuit coloured carpet. Something neutral.

The wallpaper sounds gorgeous! Do you need carpet? Floorboards would be good, or laminate flooring with a big, mint green or light brown rug. If you need a carpet, it depends how much of the wallpaper is brown or green. Is it striped or patterned? Go for a light colour pf the smallest quantity of colour - a beigy brown or very light mint green. Also, what colour accessories will you go for? If you feel it will be too much of one or the other, you can tone down with crisp, white linen and curtains/cushions etc, and also use a big rug to cover up some of the carpet! Good luck!

A beige, cream, or light blue could work. Actually what I would do is go out shopping. I see these colors all the times in like striped handbags that women carry or sometimes on men's striped shirts.

Go to the stores and find a handbag or shirt that basically has somewhat the same colors and see what they use as accenting colors. It's kind of a revert to a 60's-70's style. Use their color combos to get a good idea.

How about something in between, like beige or light yellow, that can match with both brown and mint green.

For a carpet, i guess cream.
But a laminate flooring would look nicer, with maybe a brown run to break it up a little....?

I'm thinking tan or beige. It will give a lighter aspect to the room.
