He did.
Job 1:6 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
1st John 3:Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Gen. 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Gen. 6:1-4 above is a more controversial passage. The question is who are the sons of God? Are they angels or people? Some commentators think that the Sons of God were the descendents of Seth:
"By the former is meant the family of Seth, who were professedly religious; by the latter, the descendants of apostate Cain. Mixed marriages between parties of opposite principles and practice were necessarily sources of extensive corruption. The women, religious themselves, would as wives and mothers exert an influence fatal to the existence of religion in their household, and consequently the people of that later age sank to the lowest depravity."1
Other commentators teach that the Sons of God were angels since the term "Sons of God" is used elsewhere to refer to angels as the following scriptures suggest:
Job 1:6, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them."
Job 38:7, "When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?"
However, the term "sons of God" also refers to Christians in the New Testament, "For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus," (Gal. 3:26). Since the question at hand deals with an Old Testament scripture, we must examine the context of that scripture to see how it is used.
Whichever the case, we do not know the abilities of angels. Given that they are very powerful and intelligent creatures, it is possible that they could manifest themselves as humans which has been verified in scripture: "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it," (Heb. 13:2). If this is possible that they can appear in human form and people not know it, then if a fallen angel would take human form, it would seem that it would be able to have sexual relations with a person.

Jesus was the only-begotten Son of God. John 1:14,1-3.
This (only begotten) means Jesus as a prehuman was ...ONLY; unquestionably the best, peerless, matchless, incomparible.
After that Jesus/the Word and God created all other life. Proverbs 8:22-31. Col.1:15,16. John 1:3,4.
Genesis 1:26 Let US create man in OUR image.
He was not the only son. Genesis 6:1-4 speaks of sons of God, coming to earth to marry the daughters of men.
Jude 6 And the angels that did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper dwelling place he has reserved with eternal bonds under dense darkness for the judgment of the great day.
Job 1:6 Now it came to be the day when the sons of the true God entered to take their station before YHWH, and even Satan proceeded to enter right among them.
Rev. 12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled...
Angels, sons of God, are also called morning stars;
Job 38:7 When the morning stars joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause.
Adam was also called son of God. However, he removed himself from God's family. Jesus is the second Adam, who will adopt repentant ones back into God's family. 1Cor15:45-49. Luke 3:38.
Matthew 17:5b..a voice came out of the cloud, saying: "This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to him."
God has a BIG family: Eph.3:14,15 On account of this I bend my knees to the Father, to whom every FAMILY in HEAVEN and on EARTH owes its name,..

You have asked a good question.Acually christian have wrong and misconcept about Jesus that he was the son of God.I think if God had to nead a son than Adam might be preferred to be his son because he made or created Adam by His Hands. We all are His creations. He is our Creator and we all are his salaves.

Jesus is the only BEGOTTEN son. (John 3:16) He is the only creation who was created DIRECTLY by his Father. Colossians 1:13-16 states...He (Jesus) delivered us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love, by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN OF ALL CREATION; because BY MEANS OF HIM all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All other things have been created THROUGH HIM and for him.
So Jesus was created by his Father...and God used Jesus to create everything else. So Adam was not "begotten" by God...(only Jesus was), he was "begotten" by God's son, Jesus.

Jesus is the Holy son, but as seen in the bible, God accepted us as His children. Therefore we are His sons and daughters, but Jesus is the only Holy son. Why only one Holy son? It's the Holy Trinity.

the word son in the Bible means an honor servent to God. Jesus wasn't the only one mentioned as the son of God:
"Adam, which was the son of God."
(Luke 3:38)
"That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair... And when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them..." (Genesis 6: 2,4)
"Israel is My son, even My firstborn:"
(Exodus 4:22)
"for I (God) am a Father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn."
(Jeremiah 31:9)
"the Lord hath said unto me (David): 'Thou art My son: this day have I begotten thee."
(Psalms 2:7)
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
(Romans 18:14)

well technically we are all children of God. The reason he had only one son is because our world needed a savior, and Jesus did the job exactly how God wanted it to be done.
